I was born and raised in Dodge City, KS where my family ran a landscape nursery. After receiving a management degree I managed the family business for three years, which is where I learned what it was like to run a business. In 2003 I went back to school for an accounting degree. Since December of 2003 I have worked with a great group of people at LVPF, both fellow employees and clients.
I enjoy running, traveling, and spending time with my family. I ran the 123rd Boston Marathon in 2019, which was my 8th marathon to date (New York City, Chicago, St. Jude Memphis 2x, Kansas City 2x, and Wichita were the others).
I am focused on attestation and consultation for grain cooperatives and grain LLC's especially in trying to match the goals of my clients with strategies to help them reach those goals. I believe I have the heart of a teacher, and I enjoy presenting for boards as well as others in the industry on topics such as internal controls, how to read financial statements, and the principles of cooperatives.
I have been serving as National President of NSAC since August of 2019 and have great passion for this organization.
