    September 15th marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month. This date is significant because it is the independence day of five Central American countries­—Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence day on September 16 and 18, respectively. During this month, we recognize the contributions, achievements and influence of Hispanic culture on the United States. Please join us as we celebrate our Hispanic and Latino American members and friends in the community!
